QUIZ appoints new Head of IT

QUIZ, the omni-channel fast-fashion womenswear brand, has appointed Scott Cottingham as Head of IT, in the newly created role.

Scott Cottingham has worked in IT for the retail sector throughout his career and joins QUIZ from a previous role at Office Shoes where he was IT Director for ten years. His role will be to support QUIZ on delivering its omni-channel strategy, with a special focus on improving operational efficiencies and business processes.

QUIZ is investing in its IT infrastructure to drive new innovations on its own digital channels, and extend its international online presence with the launch of own language international websites. Cottingham will be responsible for heading up these project which will support and deliver on QUIZ’s exciting global potential and business growth. Initially he will be reviewing the systems in place and establishing areas which key projects to prioritise. Scott will also be ensuring all the digital systems have the latest security measures in place, reinforced with recovery backup systems. He will also be handling QUIZ’s IT roadmap which supports the Company’s omnichannel development activating including more functionality throughout the Company which will put QUIZ at the forefront of IT in retail.

Cottingham joined the company in November 2017 and will be based at QUIZ HQ in Glasgow.
